Traka are the UK's first electronic key control manufacturer, their iFob range of electronic key management cabinets control who may take a key, which keys they may take and then automatically record by date and time when the key was taken so that an infinite log of key usage is produced. This electronic key security makes users accountable for the keys, reducing management risk and improving efficiency.Background
Traka were using a single user Sage Line 50 and wanted a system that was going to assist with controlling raw materials and finished goods, record costs, customer returns processes and sales analysis. Traka are a rapidly growing company and wanted to have a robust system that would grow with them.Solution
Late in 2004 Traka Ltd asked Qi Limited to provide the Sage Batch controller software, together with training and assistance with set up.
Result
Qi also provide support for the installed solution and ongoing assistance with expanding the use of the solution as the customer grows. Traka have been implementing more of the facilities that the system provides and now have access to more management information than ever before.
Traka and its staff were awarded The Queen's Award for Enterprise in 2004 for the company's outstanding achievement in innovation. In 2008 Traka won the Queens Award for Enterprise for the company's high levels of Overseas Trade.
