Scorpion Mouldings is a technical plastic injection moulder developing injection mould tools and producing precision plastic components in engineering thermoplastics to ISO 9002 and QS 9000 quality standards.

Background

Scorpion were having to rely on an old fashioned and unsupported system which needed to be radically overhauled. They needed a system that would be able to fully handle bills of materials and their manufacturing process.

Solution

Qi Limited updated their accounting software to Line 50 Financial Controller and also implemented Sage Batch Controller.

Result

Qi now also provide and support the network server and client PC's and have written bespoke routines to monitor machine efficiency, to load and maintain scheduled Sales Orders and to import Sales Orders downloaded from the Internet. Many administrative processes can now be completed in a fraction of the time, leaving much more time for "value add" activities. Scorpion have continued to upgrade their Sage software through Qi.
