Brunches Ltd are the leading provider of Sandwiches and Buffets in Milton Keynes, both through their retail outlet in the City centre and through the buffet delivery service run from their Crownhill site.
Background
In 1998 the delivery service was growing so quickly that the existing manual procedures had to be replaced by a computerised system.
Solution
Working closely together Brunches, an order processing system was designed that allows Brunches to capture the orders quickly and efficiently while the customer is on the phone, the systems then provides details of cooking and preparation requirements for the kitchen, and route plans etc for the delivery team. The system then posts an invoice for the buffet into the Sage 200 accounting software.
Result
Brunches can now process twice as many orders per day with the same number of staff, the management have all sales information at their fingertips and can plan the next days activities more efficiently than ever.
The bespoke system has continued to be developed to reflect the additional options available to Brunches customers.
